Summer Break Schedule/Routing Changes
Bloomington Transit
will operate reduced schedules on several campus-oriented routes during the
summer break period of May 3 through August 31, 2008. A summary of the schedule changes
are as follows:
Route 6 Campus Shuttle
will operate a reduced schedule on weekdays during the summer break from
May 3, 2008 through August 31, 2008.
The first trip will leave Knightridge Apartments at 7:30 a.m. and
the last trip will arrive at Knightridge at 9:30 p.m. Route 6 buses will run every 60
minutes. Regular Saturday and Sunday schedules will be in effect during the
summer.
Route 7 Henderson/Walnut
Express – This route will not operate during the summer break period from
May 3, 2008 through August 31, 2008.
C-9 Route will operate a reduced schedule on weekdays
during the summer break from May 3, 2008 through August 31, 2008. The first trip will leave Campus
Corner Apartments at 7:10 a.m. and the last trip will arrive at Campus
Corner Apartments at 11:10 p.m. on weekdays. C-9 Route buses will run every 40
minutes. On Saturdays the C-9 Route will
operate on a Saturday summer schedule with the first bus leaving Campus
Corner Apartments at 9:30 a.m. and the last trip will arrive at 6:10
p.m. No Sunday service
will be operated on the C-9
Route during the summer.
All other Bloomington Transit routes will operate a normal schedule
during the summer.
Bloomington Transit is
the Public Transportation Corporation for the City of Bloomington,
Indiana. Fixed route service is
provided on nine routes serving most areas of the City. Bloomington Transit also offers BT
Access, a specialized service available to persons with disabilities who
are unable to use regular fixed route services. Persons seeking more information on
