BT offers the following
services to persons with disabilities.
- Schedules are available in
large print, audio cassette, and compact disk. Call 336-7433 to
order information in these alternative formats.
- Most BT buses are
equipped with kneelers that lower the front end of the bus, making
it easier to board. When boarding, ask the driver to activate the
kneeler to lower the bus.
- All BT buses are
wheelchair accessible with ramps or lifts.
- All bus drivers announce
major bus stops and bus stops on request.

- BT holds monthly Way To
Go travel training sessions to teach new bus riders of all abilities
how to take Transit, read maps and schedules, and plan trips. Call
the customer service manager at 336-7433 for more information.
- Bloomington Transit also
offers BT Access, a curb-to-curb van service for people with
disabilities who are unable to use the fixed route system. Click here
