Regular Fare
Exact fare required, drivers do not carry change.

U-PASS
Currently enrolled IU students ride BT free upon presentation of their valid student identification card.

Monthly Passes
Available at the Bloomington Transit office (130 W. Grimes Lane) Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am to 4:30 pm and the 4th & Washington Downtown Terminal, Monday through Friday, 6:15 am to 2:15 pm and from 3:30 to 11 pm. Call for weekend availability. Cash or check only at either location.

Semi-Annual Passes
Available at the Bloomington Transit office (130 W. Grimes Lane) and the Downtown Terminal. Semi-Annual Pass prices are prorated if purchased for periods of less than 6 months.

Summer Fun Pass
Kids K-12 can purchase a Summer Fun Pass and ride most of the summer (early June to mid August) for only $12.  You'll need a free BT-issued student ID card to use the Summer Fun Pass. Summer Fun Passes are available at our main office and the downtown terminal. Student ID cards are available only at the main office. To obtain a student ID card, you must bring your child’s school picture ID, report card, or letter from the school verifying enrollment.

Transfers are only issued at the time of boarding to customers who pay a fare or board with a Bloomington Transit paid pass.  Transfers are issued to provide service between two points not served by a single route.  Transfers are free and are valid for the next bus to your destination at locations where routes intersect.  Transfers may not be used for a return trip.   

 

Passes and tickets are for sale Monday through Friday between 8 am and 4:30 pm at 130 W. Grimes Lane, Bloomington, IN 47403, (812) 336-7433, (812) 330-7853 (TDD). 

 

Passes and tickets may also be purchased at the Downtown Terminal (4th and Washington) Monday through Friday from 6:15 am to 2:15 pm and from 3:30 pm to 11 pm. Call for weekend availability.
