 Housing and Neighborhood Development Department
(HAND)
HAND
The overriding goal of HAND is to link housing affordability with housing
safety and durability. Specifically, HAND offers a Home Modification
for Accessible Living (HMAL) program. HMAL assists people with
disabilities with making modifications to their current homes.
Modifications can include ramps, widening of doorways, modifications to
kitchens and bathrooms, etc. For more information, visit their

Rural Transit
A service of the Area 10 Agency on Aging, Rural Transit offers bus service
to everyone from Monroe, Owen and Lawrence counties. You can ride no matter
your age or physical abilities.
